Rumor and gossip, perhaps a reality soon, is news that Portman is in talks to portray young Elizabeth Taylor, during her life with Richard Burton. The story is based on a book titled “Furious Love” by Sam Kashner about Taylor and Burton’s torrid romance.
The rumor is that Portman is in talks, that Scorsese is interested to helm the project and of course we have no idea yet who will portray Richard Burton. However, Paramount is on board with the project.
Folks, I think, if this film is tastefully done, we may very well have a solid picture in our hands. The minor reservation I have is Natalie Portman portraying Elizabeth Taylor. I see others in my mind but will keep my mouth shut until more news develops. Stay tuned
