I must be feeling a bit romantic these days or is it that time of the year when they overload on the sap movies? Anyway, long time no see, Jennifer Aniston on the big screen and not to mention the fact this movie has been long overdue, since it started filming I think sometime in 2007.
The story is about a widower (Aaron Eckhart) who writes and publishes a book about coping with loss and while on a promo trip to Seattle meets a woman, (Jennifer Aniston) who based on attending his seminar, determines he doesn’t necessarily practice what he preaches and as a result hasn’t been able to let go of his deceased wife. We can only imagine what the rest of the movie will be about.
I gotta say, there is really not much to say about Aniston’s performance in any given movie, she is the same in every role, never taking chances, she plays safe and does what is expected of her (lucky girl to be in such demand). Please don’t get me wrong, I am a fan of Aniston and I guess I have become accustom to her predictable performance but yet I love watching her in the movies, perhaps because of Friends – I just can’t let go.
Anyway, this one is a toss up, I don’t think its going to last very long at the theatre, so you might as well wait for the DVD.
