As the saying goes, a picture tells a thousands words, and no one knew that better than Oscar Wilde when he wrote the novel The Picture of Dorian Gray.
Well, from the book, a screenplay was written by Toby Finlay and the project helmed by director Oliver Parker will soon hit theatres first in the UK on September 9, 2009 and then we shall see how it will distributed here in the States.
Just in case no one wants to click above for the book details, the film is about a corrupt young man who is somehow able to keeps his youthful beauty eternally, but as times passes a special painting of him gradually reveals his inner ugliness to all.
Ben Barnes, stars as Dorian Gray, Colin Firth will play the role of Lord Henry Watton.
