Well there you have it ladies and gents, Disney and Marvel. This is also not surprising news as companies all around the world I am sure are looking for ways to merge, takeover, whatever it takes to wipe out the competition of some sort or another in order to survive this economic mess we are all in.
Anyway, this is good news for Disney and a smart move by Disney, although I appreciate the classic Disney and deep down wish that it didn’t involve Marvel. Again, don’t get me wrong, love Marvel comics, had dozens of comic books when I was growing up but I want the option to appreciate Marvel and Disney separately.
But business is business and if Disney feels they need to find means to reach the other gender (boys) then so be it. I still don’t like the idea but then again I am grateful I grew up with Marvel and Disney separately. I guess these are changing times and we must deal with them accordingly but I really cannot imagine walking down Main Street and seeing Marvel characters along side Snow White, Cinderella, Toy Story and Mickey.
I don’t know what do you think about this move?
