The story is about three friends, who are in their 40’s and as usual completely disappointed with how their lives had turned out. As a result, one of them decides to commit suicide but because he fails, he ends required supervision for the next 72 hours. Since he had no family of his own, his two friends decide to take him back to a sky lodge they frequented in order to reflect on their past and perhaps return optimistic about life by honing in on positive thinking.
When they get to the hotel, strange “things” begin to happen and they end up time travelling to 1986 when they were young and still optimistic about their future. So without giving too much away, you can only imagine what happens next.
What I loved the most about the movie is the dialogue and the cheesy display of three has beens life and their quest for a better one. I couldn’t stop laughing throughout the entire movie and felt the need to search for my own Hot Tub Time Machine in order to get a jump start on the “lougle” factor (Must see movie to understand).
The film directed by Steve Pink, stars: John Cusack, Rob Corddry, Craig Robinson, Clark Duke, Crispin Glover. The best team since The Hangover gang in 2009.
The movie is a must see and if it is not playing your area, by all means order it on Netflix, I promise you won’t regret it.
