Iron Man Two – Movie Review

When Iron Man 2 was announced I had a strange notion that, no 2 wasn’t really necessary, but Jon Favreau (director) felt otherwise.

Don’t get me wrong, I loved Iron Man 1 (or the first one) and felt with the ending, the movie was done. When I saw Iron Man 2 the other night, I knew I was right, the story ended with Iron Man 1.

Oh where to start? where to start? The movie lacked alot of things, from coherent storytelling, to bad acting to being over the top with really nothing to offer. I mean there could have been a story to tell, but it didn’t come across interesting or even relevant.

I did have high hopes for Natashia Romonoff (Scarlett Johansson)s character as well as Ivan Vanko (Mickey Rourke)s, but neither one panned out and their hype was overrated. The best performance in my opinion, which probably kept me interested until the very end was Justin Hammer (Sam Rockwell)s role. He did his best to keep the movie tolerable. The least favorite character, James Lt. Col. Rhodes (Don Cheadle)s role, too bad for the switch. They should have kept Terrance Howard

I think, Favreau was all over the place with the sequel, the introduction was a bit too long and the end result short and disappointing. He missed his target in countless scenes and based on the overall “picture” this should be the last of The Iron Man.

Rent it if you must, it’s not worth the big bucks at the cinema.
