Woody Allen’s latest film “mix” of comedy and drama, simply titled “You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger,” premiered Saturday at the Cannes Film Festival.
The film features an ensemble of familiar celebrity such as Naomi Watts, Anthony Hopkins, Antonio Banderas, Josh Brolin, Gemma Jones and Freida Pinto. The story is about each character dealing with familiar issues in every day life, such as relationships, family and finding love in the most peculiar fashion as well as dealing with immortality and more.
When asked during the press conference, why he chose to make the film in London rather than his home town New York. He simply replied by saying it was more expensive to make the film in New York and also the weather in London during the summer months was more ideal for filming.
As usual I cannot wait for his film to be released in the U.S. Stay tuned.
