I found an article on an online site about “why Angelina Jolie is the best choice to play Cleopatra?” The site justified the choice by comparing Angelina Jolie to Elizabeth Taylor in similarities such as being Hollywood Royalty, having an affair with a married man, and quality acting (according to the site zap2it.com (I beg to differ of course in quality acting part of it for Jolie’s case)
What a fascinating resume to qualify a celebrity for such a prestigious role. The problem is, why bother making or re-making the movie in the first place. We saw Jolie in Alexander and she was pretty awful. Either way the film should remain a classic with Elizabeth Taylor at the throne. Besides I like seeing Jolie in action movies more than anything else she attempts to do which require her to show serious emotions.
