Now that’s what I call a poster that truly represents the Cannes Film Festival. I wasn’t a fan of last years and was holding my breath the entire first quarter of 2011 in hopes, this years would be better. Sure enough, it is.
The official poster is a black and white shot of Faye Dunaway from a 1970 movie named “Puzzle of a Downfall Child” in which she starred. The photograph was taken by director Jerry Schatzberg.
I love the poster and I can’t wait to report from the Festival, which takes place May 11-22 in Cannes, France. Stay tuned
