You have a Stephen King book – The Dark Tower and you are able to sign on Javier Bardem to play the main character plus Ron Howard to helm the project, what more do you want Universal to get this film going?
Apparently, Universal Pictures, who at one point considered making a three part film from The Dark Tower, is having second thoughts about the budget. Although the project is due to start filming in September, Howard and Universal need to come up with a plan. One option buzzed about, is to turn the film over to Warner Brothers (as I scratch my head while I think out loud).
Whatever you do Universal, don’t take too long. Perhaps another option is to make one solid film, with the option to do to more if you come out on top. Stay tuned my friends…
