I am not sure how I feel about this announcement but apparently, Tom Hopper (The King’s Speech) wants to make a musical next and he has settled on Les Miserables for the project. Everything is too fresh to report and not yet set it stone, but Hugh Jackman is in talks to play the lead.
I hate to admit, but after watching his song and dance opening act at the 2009 Oscars, I have to say it isn’t something I am looking forward to seeing. Remember how bad Pierce Bronson was in Mama Mia? Ok, enough said. Stay a Wolverine Hugh!!!
