Of course there is news that Universal Studios, after sitting on the idea of making a Wanted film sequel, has decided to proceed to do so even though Jolie has opted not to return for No2.
I think it was a wise choice on her part, and although the film grossed 350MM worldwide, it really is not worthy of a sequel.
James McAvoy will return, but there is no news as to which direction will make the film. However, writers Michael Brandt and Derek Haas have been hired to pen the script. Since this project is fairly new, stay tuned for more news as it becomes available.
