This is a story of a young girl who discovers another version of her life on the other side of a secret door, which leads her through many adventures and ultimate choices. Directed by Henry Selick, the creative and visionary director behind A Nightmare Before Christmas, the movie is based on the best selling novel by Neil Geiman and is rated PG for its scary images and language. Parents might want to think twice before taking their young children to see this movie because of it’s contents. Most children today often have trouble living their lives and tend to daydream and create imaginary worlds to cope with whatever is not right at home. This movie may add more confusion to their already confused state of being. I do however think this movie will be a hit at the box office for the more mature crowd and fable followers alike. It’s beautifully created and filmed in 3D. I say a must see in theatres.
