Something fun and original, is the story of The Brother’s Bloom. About two brothers, who after living their childhood in various foster homes, grow up to become international con artists. Throughout their childhood, the older brother, Steven (Ruffalo) makes up stories and uses his younger brother to live them out in hopes of making a living by coning the wealthy. As they get older the younger brother Bloom (Brody) tires of the scam, goes his own way.
One day Steven comes to Bloom with a proposal – to work with his brother one last time for the ultimate scam. Bloom accepts his brother’s last attempt with the condition, they would go their separate ways and that would be the end of it.
The plan is to befriend a wealthy and bored New Jersey heiress (Weisz) in hopes of making their dreams a reality. Along with their “associate” BANG BANG (Kikuchi)the four embark on the adventure of a lifetime traveling from Athens to Prague, to St Petersburg to Mexico in order to accomplish their ultimate scam. Along the way (without giving away too much) they each make discoveries which can lead to a choice between life or death.
