Shrink – July 24, 2009

The movie is about an A-list clientele shrink in Los Angeles who, on the surface has it together, but deep down inside cannot seem to get it together himself.

The movie revolves around Henry (Spacey) who, not being in a good place, has been asked to take his first pro bono case. Helping a troubled teenage girl from a neighborhood far from the Hollywood hills who is obsessed with movies, which happens to be the very thing destroying Henry.

Shrink premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and apparently got great reviews. Kevin Spacey, reminiscent of his performance in An American Beauty, gives top notch performance as the troubled shrink making the movie all the worth while.

SHRINK stars Kevin Spacey, Robert Loggia, Pell James, Keke Palmer, Griffin Dunne, Saffron Burrows, Jack Huston, Dallas Roberts, Gore Vidal, Laura Ramsey, Mark Webber, Jesse Plemons, Joel Gretsch. It is directed by Jonas Pate (DECEIVER), written by Thomas Moffett, and produced by Michael Burns, Braxton Pope, and Dana Brunetti.
