Ahhh every girls dream, something I can relate too for sure. The contents of this trailer as well as the synopsis touched my heart and brought back memories of own battles of living life as it should be.
The movie is set in the 1960s where a parent’s dream of sending their daughter to Oxford is shattered as a result of her attempts to live life without a classroom education but rather through hands-on experience with a charming older man.
The story is cleverly detailed by director Lone Scherfig and wonderfully performed by Carry Mulligan, Emma Thompson, Alfred Molina and Peter Starsgaard. A winner of Sundance Film Festival Award 2009. Its due for October 2009 release but I couldn’t wait to bring it to your attention.
