James Reese (Jonathan Rhys Meyers), a personal aide to the U.S. Ambassador in France, has a pretty good life in Paris. A job, a beautiful girlfriend and a side job as a low-level operative for the CIA. But all he wants is to become a full fledged agent and see some real action.
Upon his promotion to such a position, he is matched with a partner, special agent Charlie Wax (John Travolta) who is sent to Paris to stop a terrorist attack. Reese and Wax go about Paris underworld on a shooting spree causing Reese to realize that his desk job wasn’t bad at all. However, as he decides to return to his easy life, he realizes there is no turning back because he is a target and needs Wax to keep him alive.
The movie from Lionsgate opens on Febuary 5th and contains adult contents and language. I am excited about this film and hope to get a peek at it in San Francisco.
