Finally some good news for Matt Damon, he will be the recipient of the American Cinametheque Award on March 27, 2010. A well deserved award for one of Hollywood’s gifted actors.
I think Damon’s work had been overlooked for many years and finally this year he was nominated for best supporting actor for Invictus at the Golden Globe and SAG Awards but did not win. I do believe it is only a matter of time for him to climb the ladder and be properly awarded for his work. He is smart in his choice of film as well as his connections and acquaintances in Hollywood. Best wish to Matt Damon and congratulations for the Honor.
