Despite all the controversy about the graphic violance and sexual contents of the film The Killer Inside Me, IFC picks up the movie for distribution in the United States.
The film directed by Michael Winterbottoms, is the story of a small town sheriff named Lou Ford (Casey Affleck) who while involved in the investigation of a ruthless sociopathic killer, discovers a dark and violent side awakining within him.
There is no distribution date set yet and no one really knows whether or not IFC will required some editing of the graphic violence before release, but for the time being the news is good for the film.
Other members of the cast include, Kate Hudson, Jessica Alba, Bill Pullman, Elias Koteas, Ned Beatty and Simon Baker. Stay Tuned.
