Here is an interesting bit of news, Johnny Depp and Penelope Cruz joining forces to give the old Pirates of the Caribbean another twist “On Stranger Tides.” I am hoping Depp’s character has met his match with this chapter, that would be the only way to make this work, otherwise the franchise is getting old.
The good news is that The Black Pearl has docked in Hawaii and filming will begin in (Oahu and Kauai early summer 2010 for release in 2011. This should boost tourism to Hawaii and help the filmmakers with the much needed tax incentives. Stay tuned.
