Women Without Men Opens 4/9/2010

Women Without Men, an adaptation of Shahrnush Parsipur’s novel, is the story intertwining the lives of four Iranian women during the time in 1953 when an American Led coup d’etat brought Mohammad Mossadegh down and reinstated the Shah to power.

The film was written and directed by Shirin Neshat’s and is distributed by IndiePix Films for a limited engagement. Check your local listing to see if you’re fortunate enough to see this powerful film and if you get a chance feel free to drop me a line about it.
