This can’t get any better in my opinion. Robert DeNiro has joined Jason Statham and Clive Owen in the remake – The Killer Elite – which is scheduled to start filming any day now in Australia and the U.K. DeNiro is set to play “Hunter” the mentor for Statham’s character.
The original made in 1975 starred James Caan, Robert Duvall and Arthur Hill. The story revolves around the CIA (see my earlier blog entry) and based on various online sites, there are different takes on the 2010 remake. So until filming begins shortly, we really are not sure which route the director intents to take.
Either way, I am very happy for the solid cast and am so looking forward to this flick. Stay Tuned.
