I don’t know if this movie is worth the effort and I mean it constructively. It seems the cast is pretty solid and the synopsis a valid point but really I just don’t have room in my heart or brain for this type of film anymore. Maybe if it came out three years back it would have worked. I am just saying.
Anyway, the story centers on a year in the life of three men trying to survive a round of corporate downsizing at a major company – and how that affects them, their families, and their communities.
The cast is :Kevin Costner,Tommy Lee Jones,Ben Affleck,Maria Bello,Chris Cooper,Craig T. Nelson. Directed by John Wells and 113 minutes may put you to sleep in my opinion. Release date 10/22/2010 first in New York and LA and then elsewhere as scheduled.
