A while back I had reported that, due to MGM Studio’s financial troubles, the next Bond installment was on hold indefinitely. However, after MGM filed bankruptcy (in recent months) and got their approval for restructuring the company, plans to begin filming the next Bond movie is well on the way.
Sam Mendes will helm the project. Daniel Craig will resume his role as James Bond. David Arnold will begin composing the music. The film is slotted for release November 2012.
I am happy and relieved to hear the good news. There aren’t too many film projects I look forward to anymore, but a good Bond movie is a must in my opinion, no matter what the future holds for the industry and studios, in the years to come. Stay tuned!!!
