So nice to see George Clooney about town – in Cincinnati, Ohio that is, after contracting Malaria while travelling in Sudan a while back. Anyway, he is working on a new project with Ryan Gosling titled Ides of March – a film adaptation of the play Ferrugut.
The film is about a staffer (Gosling) for a potential presidential candidate (Clooney), who gets a crash course on dirty politics while on the campaign trail. Clooney is directing the film and according to industry buzz, Marisa Tomei, Rachel Evan Wood, Paul Giamati and Philip Seymour Hoffman are all on board with the project.
Love the fact, this type of film brings out the best in Clooney. Stay tuned.
