IFC film directed by Salvatore Stabile with very limited showing and possibly going directly to DVD. Which is really sad because these are the films we need to see right now. The story is about a has been boxer, who served time in Iraq, becomes homeless and jobless in America. (Surprise to all of us here, we had no idea this was going on in the US) The movie is based on the struggles he and his family endures while searching for a job and roof over their heads. Not sure what causes these type of movies to fall through the cracks. Let’s hope its released nationwide but if not be sure to rent it on DVD.

This movie is in limited release (in Seattle, NY and Los Angeles), but it’s also available on video on demand to many people across America through Comcast and Time Warner.To see it, go to your “on demand” section on your cable box, go under “IFC on demand”, and then “IFC in Theaters”, and it’s listed as “God Left His Shoes” – it’s a very good movie.
