There are many movies out there about the Jewish Holocaust but in my opinion none as heart breaking as this one.
The fascinating aspect of this story, based on the novel by John Boyne, is that it is seen through the eyes of two eight year old boys, one on each side of the fence that divided them during World War II.
The director, Mark Herman, does an outstanding job telling the story on film and commands extreme creativity in depicting the true sense of that dark period in history. A must see by everyone and anyone.
