Here is a new take in showing what true love is and can be all about. When Tom (Gordon-Levitt), a greeting card copywriter and hopeless romantic, is blindsided after his girlfriend Summer (Zooey Deschanel) dumps him, he decides to go through the 500 days leading to the breakup to try and figure out where things went wrong. His reflections ultimately lead him to finally rediscover his true passions in life.
I think its a fun movie, I love the new approach director Marc Webb took to the typical love story, relationships and breakups films. I also have become a fan of Zooey Deschanel and am looking forward to watching her in this film, but wish she was matched with a better mate for this one. Levitt looks like a little boy next to her. My recommendation, go see it if you are looking for a refreshing movie this summer.
