Although the title of the movie Fling is self explanatory, in my opinion it is a bit misleading for this movie because the story is based on a couple who is in an open and yet committed relationship. I am not sure if that is at all possible, but when a couple embarks on such a journey, whatever happens with in that relationship cannot really be considered a Fling.
Anyway, the film explores the challenges of an open-relationship by weaving through a complex web of how such an act could be dangerous to those involved, and will ultimately end up by hurting the parties involved. This movie touches on the realities of men and women and how they connect or not, friendships and the importance of having them and lovers who come and go. It is a low budget movie with mostly D list actors but the storyline is intense and keeps you on the edge of your seat.
If you have seen Sex, Lies and Videotapes as well as Bob and Carol and Ted and Alice, then you would want to see this movie. High volume of sexual content. This movie is for mature audience and couples with a sense of humor for sure.
