Vincent Cassel on

My utmost admiration for international film actors is validated once more by the bit of buzz I found on Flaunt Magazine/, about Vincent Cassel’s straight forward views on Films and Film making in general. I copy/pasted the details verbatim because what he said about film making in the U.S. vs Most anywhere in the world should not be reworded:

“Things are very different in France,” Vincent shared. “In Hollywood there’s politics; young actors have to do big, stupid movies to eventually be a box office figure and have access to great directors, stuff like that.”

The 43-year-old French actor, who’s been married to actress Monica Bellucci for over ten years, spoke about the difference between French cinema and Hollywood.

“But in France the market is a little different,” he added. “In a minute, you know everybody, so you stick to what you like because, otherwise, you won’t be able to come back to it.”
