Gladiator, I mean Robin Hood (18th version) is slotted as the opening movie at the Cannes Film Festival May 12, 2010. I guess what I would like to know is how a movie is selected to be the opening movie each year. Last year it was Up and this year it’s Robin Hood. I’d love to hear from anyone who knows how the selection process works.
